It was crazy, we have a pretty big movie theater (as in 12 theaters) and all of them were showing Harry Potter, and it was sold out.

As I said we would in my last post, we got there about 2 hours early, and I thought we would have had to wait in line at the theater that we were assigned to with our ticket, but we didn't (which I was thankful for). Half of the theaters were open and the other half you had to wait for, so duh, we were going to choose the open ones--and they weren't that crowded either. We found some of my friends which were already there so we sat with them, waited for my other friends to come along and they did. In all, I think we took almost the whole back row. Mwahahaha. I didn't have to sit next to any creeps which is always a plus.

I actually saw it again last Friday with one of my friends, Emily, where in fact this older man came and sat down. Right next to me. And we were sitting towards the right end of the row, we weren't even in the middle. So he had the whole row to choose from, and you have to sit right next to someone else?

I mean, isn't it like an unspoken rule that if there is a whole row of seats to choose from, you don't sit right next to another person you don't even know? If I can respect your space, then I think you can respect mine. It's just annoying. And then you can't have that armrest...

I liked the movie as a whole a lot, just little things here and there bugged me. But I won't say anything to ruin the movie for anyone except, I thought they could have added something to the ending, and stuck a little more to the book. Either way, I think it's the best of all the Harry Potter movies so far.

On Being an Impatient Person and Harry Potter

http://red-bananas.weebly.com/1/post/2009/07/on-being-an-impatient-person-and-harry-potter.html

http://red-bananas.weebly.com/1/post/2009/07/on-being-an-impatient-person-and-harry-potter.html#comments

Uncategorized

I am not going to lie--I love Harry Potter. These new people help form and shape who you are whether you realize it or not. They help shape your feelings, your attitude, and your character itself.

Standing on the sidelines, I've watched one of my best friends slowly drift farther and farther from me and closer to these new friends she's met. It's hard for me not to be bitter about the way things have turned out and how she's let these new friends change who she is.

I've realized that it's beyond my power to control other people's actions and to change who they've become. Yet, I still wish and hope she might yet become who she once was, and it's sucks, it really truly does. I feel like she's trying to change herself to impress these friends and to please them. Maybe it's just because I'm in a position that's biased...

I know I've changed as well and I pray that I'm becoming the girl that God wants me to be and one that will always be there for her friends. And I want them to slap me, HARD TOO!, if I ever start to lose sight of who I am. I don't want to wake up one day and hate who I've become.

Broken and Broke

http://red-bananas.weebly.com/1/post/2009/07/broken-and-broke.html

http://red-bananas.weebly.com/1/post/2009/07/broken-and-broke.html#comments

Uncategorized

When I was on vacation, I was taking a walk along the beach with my dad and was taking pictures as we went. Except that there was.

I still had had my camera on, so when it hit the sand, the lens hit it and it was crooked, almost like falling out. So... I was pretty ticked. I mean, it really broke just from me dropping it like that? I thought, 'Its alright, I have a warranty on it, and I can get a new one or get it fixed or something'.

When we get home, I go to Best Buy, which is where I bought it, and they tell me that my warranty expired two days ago so they can't do anything. I wanted to punch the lady in the face. Two days?! Two days and you're not going to do anything?! She then said that it would cost more to fix it then to just buy a new one. My dad attempted to fix it, and he managed to get the lens un-crooked, but it still won't turn on.

So now I am camera-less and have to spend the money that I've been saving on another camera. Ok, technically I don't have to, but I really would like a camera. It's really convenient and I take pictures all the time of anything and everything. It just makes me so mad, that it broke just from the strap breaking.

Another bummer is that in about 3 weeks, I'm going to Buffalo New York and Niagara Falls. Camara-less. Talk about frustrating. So, my parents said I could take theirs, so I might just do that.

I've been working with my mom over the summer, so when the time comes when I want to buy a new one, I really want to make a good choice and spend my money wisely. And then take good care of it. I won't be carrying it by it's strap anymore!

I Feel Awful

http://red-bananas.weebly.com/1/post/2009/07/i-feel-awful.html

http://red-bananas.weebly.com/1/post/2009/07/i-feel-awful.html#comments

Uncategorized

I haven't blogged or updated on here in a while.
